ABOUT COREL PHOTOCD LAB
=======================
The Corel PhotoCD Lab is a utility that lets you view Kodak
PhotoCD images and convert them to other formats.
Compressed Kodak PhotoCD images require 4.5 MB of memory.
Using Corel PhotoCD Lab, you can convert these
large files to formats that require less memory and that you
can use with many graphics applications.
You can convert Kodak PhotoCD images to four formats and
specify the image resolution, colours, and rotation. The four
available formats are:
- BMP
- EPS
- PCX
- TIF
INSTALLING COREL PHOTOCD LAB
----------------------------
The installation automatically puts the Corel PhotoCD Lab files in
your Windows directory. These files are
- COMMDLG.DLL
- PCDLIB.DLL
- PCDXBMP.DLL
- PCDXEPS.DLL
- PCDXPCX.DLL
- PCDXTIF.DLL
Do not move these files from your Windows directory.
By default, the installation puts the PCDSCSI.EXE program into
the CORELDRV/SCSIUTIL directory.
USING THE COREL PHOTOCD LAB WINDOW
----------------------------------
You load, modify, select, and view images using the Corel PhotoCD
Lab window. To open this window, double-click the Corel PhotoCD
Lab icon.
The Corel PhotoCD Lab window contains four menus that you use to
work with images and an area that displays your images.
LOADING AN IMAGE INTO COREL PHOTOCD LAB

You can load an image from any device into Corel PhotoCD Lab without
using overlays (thumbprints).
To load an image

2. Select the name of the file you want to load. Use the Drives and
Directories selection boxes to access the file.

MODIFYING IMAGE ATTRIBUTES
--------------------------
The Image menu contains options for modifying the colour, size,
and rotation of the image displayed in the Corel PhotoCD Lab window.
To specify the colour options for the image, select a colour option
from the Colour sub-menu of the Image menu.
To change the size of an image, select a size option from the Size
sub-menu of the Image menu.
To rotate an image, select a Rotate option from the View sub-menu
of the Image menu.
To mirror an image, select the Mirror option from the View sub-menu
of the Image menu.
Note: The Mirror and Rotate options are non-incremental. For example,
select the Rotate 180 option to rotate your image 180 degrees. You
can't select the Rotate 90 option twice to achieve a 180 degree
rotation.
To return a mirrored or rotated image to its original perspective,
select the Restore option from the View sub-menu of the Image menu.
